All of our coaches are background checked and have obtained certification in Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross. 



Courtney Smith- President

Courtney is a USPTA, and Net Generation certified coach. She has been coaching for the last fifteen years and currently holds accreditations with the National Federation of High School Coaches (NFHS) and the Women’s Tennis Coaching Association. Courtney is the current Varsity Girls and Boys coach for North Smithfield. Throughout her years of coaching, she has worked with players who have been highly ranked in their section and the nation. She traveled as a coach to Junior Fed Cup and Nike Junior Masters. Courtney pursued a successful junior tennis career and went on to play Division I Collegiate tennis at Seton Hall University. Courtney’s knowledge and love for the game have enabled her to develop the next generation of talented and skilled tennis players.


Sam Barlow - Vice President

Sam is a certified Net Generation coach and a student at Trinity College. After playing competitively as a youth player and completing a successful tennis career at the Wheeler School in Providence RI, he decided to focus his expertise on coaching. For two seasons, Sam volunteered at the RI Special Olympics tennis program. He also served as the assistant director of the Lincoln School 2016 summer camp. He is currently the JV Boys coach and the assistant Varsity Girls coach at the Kingswood Oxford School in Hartford, CT.



Jessalyn Jianos, Coach 

Jess is a certified Net Generation coach and a former student athlete at the Lincoln School, Providence RI. Jess played tennis at the varsity level in high school in a competitive conference. She is currently an undergraduate student at Connecticut College. 

Gianna Geoghegan, Coach 

Gianna is a certified Net Generation coach and a student athlete at the Lincoln School, Providence. She is currently competing at the varsity level in a competitive conference.
